As he had promised, coach Angelo Jean-Baptiste made changes to the starting lineup compared to the match against Mexico. Jordy Monclair, Mandel François, Guesly Alexandre and Ganaël Gay, who played against Mexico on Sunday, will not start for this match. In the first half, our Grenadiers conceded 3 goals from the "Canaleros" who were very offensive and dominant : Gustavo des Herrera 16' [1-0], Kairo Walters 32' [2-0] and Rafael Mosquera 45'+7 on penalty [3-0].

After the break, coach Angelo Jean-Baptiste made a few changes. He replaced Chris Jean François with Mendell François, Jaylen Vilsaint with Jordy Monclair, Ricardo Wagner with Kaief Tomlinson and Nelson Pierre with Isaïe Louis.

A 2nd period where the Grenadiers were more lively and put pressure on the "Canaleros" without managing to thwart their defense. Despite a better game, our Grenadiers had to wait for a goal from Bryan Destin in the 86th minute to reduce the score [3-1] and avoid humiliation.
